thermal arc fault?

hi , is this worth a punt on fleebay, says its got 'th' on display as fault. anyone any clue as to what fault it relates to?

It seems to think it's overheated.

Just a guess but I would think TH means thermal cut out or overload. Makes sense. Possibly a faulty senser making the machine believe it's too hot. All guess work mind and I could be miles out.

Looked at this the other day & got onto welder fix about finding the error code for me.. not going to be buying the machine as I'm on my 3rd new welder this month already.. impulse buys :/
I've looked into the manuals and TH means something to do with the temperature, just as richard says the machine thinks its overheated even though its not.
Don't think it'd be too expensive to get fixed by welderfix.

Why don`t you explain,as you have in your thread,the fault code.Ask them for a quote,you seem positive about the fault, based on that they should be able to give you an idea of price

User manual can be found Here fault code is listed on page 32. I have the 250 version of this, parts can be expensive.
