Thermal Arc 202 torch

Hi all, looking for some advise on replacing my torch on my Thermal Arc 202, im abit confused on what will fit what as the OEM torch has a remote on it and im not sure if i can do away with this or buy anouther torch with it on etc.

Im after a flexi head as i find them much easier to get on with, can i just change the torch end or do i buy a whole new lead.

Sorry for the dumbness, ive been welding for 15 years but never had to buy the stuff my self until now and my poor little brain is starting to melt !!!!

You need a CK Trimline 200A TL26 FX (flex head slim handle) with 3/8 fitting (£122+), CK Safeloc Male 35mm (to hook up hose/feed to 202) (£23.00+), this in my case is used with a peddle so no remote required. You may want a Zipper cover too (£20.00) this is for the 3m kit.

Ah brilliant thanks, i dont have a foot peddle, do you know if its possible to wire a remote that i could have on the end of my bench to change amps rather than on the torch, its handy to be able to change amps without getting up but on the torch is abit to close for comfort.

Not sure tbh, anything is poss, I had a switch that I build a simple peddle for on my 181 but that was only to free my hand from the button, its a fair cost but a peddle is a must have imo for the 202 even with DC, that and the CK you will be flying.

If your not worried about the remote and just want a push button torch then I'm sure any one you chose will fit as you will only need to connect the two switch wires up into your original torch plug.
