I've wanted one for a while, christmas is coming up and it's really close, it's like it's meant to be.
I even have a little space left to put it

Do we know if anything can be easily unbolted to get it in a car? I think I spy some bolts between the column and the base.

That looks like nice sized machine. They've got a very good looking Rapidor as well.

I used to have one the same as that, you definitely wont want to put it in a car, I moved mine in a transit and loaded it with a forklift, used to use it for putting keyways in sprockets when I was building machinery, too slow to do anything else profitable with it, easy to convert to a single phase motor though.

Get it shifted on the pallet that it's already on by Speedshift:

If it's under a metre tall it'll qualify as a half pallet - they have an online price calculator.

Same as mine, unbolts from the base and you can take other parts off easily, but still heavy. Get it bought and worry about getting it home then, you'll think of summat!

i used one of the those in college, good machines but awfully slow. we werent allowed to mill a block square, we had to use the shaper to get it square first and then move over to the mill...took ages longer than it should have done

That sounds like a question that a girlfriend/wife/mother/female relative would pose. Being a fella i often see things i want but have no possible use for, including tools and machines.

Agreed possibly, but I've spent best part of 44 years collecting crap that I want but don't need, but this chap is a young lad, shouldn't he be playing on his bike, chasing girls or drinking cheap cider ???
