One second you're standing at the stall on a Sunday morning rooting through boxes, the next second you're handing over cash and walking away with a so called bargain in a moment of lightheaded madness. This is a regular occurrence for me although this week I surpassed myself when I bought a 39.5mm drill bit with a mt4 shank for a fiver, it makes me laugh just looking at it (10mm reamer in pic for size ref).

So what 'bargains' have others bought, please make me feel less daft...!

if u have a lathe turn the taper down to half inch and it will fit in a standard drill chuck

yep i remember that it was cheap for what it was but bloody expensive and big. and buyer had to dismantle and transport it

We have all done it, regardless of weather or not we have a use for it,anything engineering of top class quality and going for a song,we cant get the money out fast enough!!!
