The cast aluminium patio table blew over and broke one of the chairs.

The table and chairs are made of cast (?) aluminium components welded together. The chair broke at the welds. I would like to think that means it can be repaired.

Anyone in the Rugby, Warwick, Corby or Huntington area prepared to give it go? Shipping it around the country is too much hassle.

No, I can't buy a replacement. These were bought over 20 years ago in South Africa.

Looks like you might have enough room there to put some piece(s) of angle as reinforcement.
Might be worth exploring as I suspect welding it will be an issue.

The table spent the first 15 years of its life in Pembrokeshire - the Land of Horizontal Rain. Plant pots regularly migrated around the garden, the chairs often blew over but the table never moved.
We didn't expect such winds in Warwickshire. I think it was the folded parasol that did the nasty.

We have learned to adjust to experiencing frost.

I'll know for next time!
