Watched this film tonight - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/video/detail/B0G4XFGZCF/ref=atv_hm_hom_c_Wxw9N3_5_1
It's not bad at all, well worth watching, about 45 mins in the Tiger tank is prepped for submerged crossing of a river a river, I thought that has to be BS for a 50ton tank so goggled it
To operate underwater, a Tiger tank required a special setup that took approximately 30 minutes to prepare:
Snorkel: A large snorkel tube was raised at the rear of the tank to supply air to the engine and crew.

To operate underwater, a Tiger tank required a special setup that took approximately 30 minutes to prepare:
Snorkel: A large snorkel tube was raised at the rear of the tank to supply air to the engine and crew.
- Seals and Gaskets: All external openings were sealed with rubber gaskets and an inflatable ring was used to seal the turret ring, preventing water from entering the crew compartments.
- Bilge Pump: A bilge pump was installed to manage any water that might seep in.
- Navigation: The turret and gun were locked in a forward position, and the driver, who had limited visibility, was guided by radio communication from a spotter on the surface.
