where does he get all those spanners from?

from the spanner spirits in my garage-they move them from where I put em a few times then nick em completely-although on the odd occasion they sneak em back to where I looked in the first place or into my back pocket.

farm auctions nearly always have boxes and boxes of old spanners that go for no more than scrap price, in my experience.

I've got a couple of boxes myself, actually. hmmmm...
