the Price of Paraffin !

I nearly fell into an old style swoon at seeing the price of a gallon of paraffin at my local Sainsbuys service station. £6 a gallon! Since when was it more expensive than petrol? I always remember paraffin as being at least half the price of petrol?

Surely it cant be that price everywhere ?

I'd guess that now it's not used for heating it's become a specialist product.

Yeh sounds about the right price

If you go to somewhere a bit more commercial you can get 20lt drums which might help a little with the price

Its probably worse than you think, I'm pretty sure they are only 4 litre bottles, thats what the B&Q ones are for £5.99
