How does this guy get away with reviews like this. The item he has reviewed does not even use GPS. Just Bluetooth so it's useless to me.

I got the NUT tracker based on reviews as I had to pay 113 quid to get my dog back. when we only live 3 yards from the park he visited. selfish owners take batches on heat there.

But it's hard to use and does not actually have GPS. what it does have I have still to find out but it's intermittent and flaky.

Software is not intuitive.

My friend imported a dog tracker from the USA that is the mutts nuts as it were.
It relies on radio waves so works at a much greater distance than anything you can buy here (it's not technically legal for use in this country).
I can get some more details if your interested.

They normally use the phone's GPS so it will show you a "last known position" when it goes out of range of the phone it's paired with.

Quite possibly a Garmin unit. These are the best on the market at the moment. Other units are available that are legal in the UK. You get them advertised in shooting magazines.
