The Gate Bike

This is my little toy we use to get to our main gate and let people in.
Its had a flat tyre for nearly a year and been sat at the back of the garage so I decided to make something fun out of it.

It will never be used on the road and will only do about 10 mph

What's the back axle?

It's just made up from some tube welded to the wheels and sleeved into a little frame I made for the back.
I'll grab some pics of it tomorrow.

Now that is just great, a little fibreglass or metal and you could make it look really hot, even at 10 miles an hour lol.

you poor little Sussex Munchkin you have to have a motorbike to go the main gate.
I have a wife for that kind of thing.
Scrapheap challenge? me and a bunch of mates did apply, then I become almost phobic about video cmeras so we gave up.
Afterwards we realised it would have worked well if I kept running away or shutting my welding helmet everytime a camera came near.

Well donuts in a manner of speaking. The trike was going in circles and the weight transfer off the drive wheel made it spin up.

I used to work with a guy called oz, he built the wheeleing reliant trike on Scrapheap challenge and was on there as an expert a few times then a judge. He said the director kept making them stop to film it in four or five angles. Very tiring at the end of the day!
