I finally got around to unpacking the Victa Eagle surface grinder that I bought a couple of weeks back.
So far I can't find anything really wrong with it, just the saddle gib to the knee needs a slight adjustment. It appears to have lots of grease nipples for lubricationso should this really be grease or more likely oil? The nipples are everywhere from the spindle to the sideways and feed screws.
The micrometer dials are dual imperial/metric affairs made by Vickers in Kent, anyone heard of those before?
