I went to get some wheels blasted and when i was there i saw there was a mig set just like mine but its a sealey one mine a re baged one called maypol 160. so i ask whats up with it as it was all in bits he sed the wire fead was all jumpy then i thought i have got spair moter for one of these at home haw much dose he want £20 bargen so i got it got it home changed the moter put it back 2gether works find and its only about 3years old as well he probley payed about 300 for it

and then he has all so got loads of compressors laying about so i ask how much and he sed 10er each so i got a abac compressor its 110V tho and i havent got a trany so i cant test it yet its a 50L and its a bout 10cfm going to go back and get another one i think

going to go back and get a blast pot off him as well he wanted £40 for it and its a good one cant rember the make off hand tho

It's obvious what's wrong with the compressor - the paint reservoir has exploded. Probably because it's been topped up with cheapo white paint.

Fit a new one (or weld up the old one) and fill it only with the original-spec blue paint or it will fail again in no time

the welder works real well real happy with that
still not tryed the compressor as its 110V need a trany for it its 10.2cfm i did find it on google cant rember whats all the spec was its a good one tho

I think the copper pipe going from the pump to the tank has had a bump and its not sealed the guy sed he thinks it just dosent keep air but wasent 100% but for a 30quid wellder and the compressor.. i would have payed 150 or more for just the welder so no botherd if its f**ked as the wellder works fine

I was only kidding
It's just that the way the paint spill has run down the vents, it almost looks like it has run out of them. There is no paint reservoir on a compressor - don't worry.
