need to make some tie rods for a church ,usually architect specify s/steel,this time they want 8.8 grade ,so is en16t similar in strength?its also required to be galvanised,so will check this with the galvaniser.

If it is for the church commissioners I would ask the architect to speck it more precisely, they will be nit pickers
