Temporary coat over filler

I fancy having a go at the filler work on my 2002 project. Seeing as I won't be able to do it all at once, what would you lot use to keep moisture away from the filler?

epoxy would be ideal

if not some rattle can gloss that you can sand/thinners off later

Could the epoxy be rolled on well enough for a bodyshop to finish off, or would I be better off epoxying the bare metal and leaving the painter to do the filler work?

thats something you need to talk to your bodyshop about

if it was me i wouldnt want a diy job and would price it to roar it all off and start again as i would have to warrenty it ....others may accept anything lol

Epoxy the bare metal, fill, then epoxy to seal it. If you are getting it done professionally, they might prefer stage one only.
