Telwin Telmig 150/1

Hi all!
I am about to buy a Telmig 150/1 which is intended for a "locost" Lotu7 replica car building. The chassis of the car will be made of 25x25x1.5mm rectangular tubes.
Do you think that this welder is adequate for the job?
Maybe i could use a smaller and cheaper welder and again be able to do a nice work?

That'll be fine, I built mine with an absolutely awful 130a, I had many problems with the welder, but insufficient power wasn't one of them

Sorry, no, not a Telmig, I had a "Snap-on" 130.
I thought I was a bad welder until I bought a new Clarke, turns out I'm not bad

Seen you on Locostbuilders. Good enough machine. It is almost identical to Sealey machine rather than the Clarke. GET PRACTISING ON IT.LOL!!
