i have been looking for a gas mig welder mainly for welding car panels.

i have found this:

does anyone know if this will be suitable. done bits of welding before but looking to use this to learn properly.

i am also planning to use it for some fabricating. like making up stands for rotating body shell and fabricating some floor mounted brackets for an electric winch i have.

Welcome to the forum.
That machine will do you fine, decent quality and ok for thin stuff and also occasional use on around 4-5mm as long as you prep it well and it's non-structural.
