I am building a bike powered buggy and was wandering if anyone on here has had any experiences with the above and if so are they suitable for use on gear change. I presume they need to be anchored down each end like a normal cable. Thanx

Hi, Morse are very helpful if you ring there technical department, I have used them a few times as replacement shift cables for very old lifeboat gearboxes.

they are used a lot now on cars now for the gear change instead of a solid linkage.

Yep, they are standard on all Mazdas produced after 1999.

Google "push pull cables" and you'll get loads of ideas. You can get them made to order with threaded ends to take spherical joints by places like cable-tec.

Have used morse cables for several oddities. Can now get super flexible versions, damn near tie knots in them and still not get stiff. Cable-tec are very helpful
