Teeing road compressor and screw compressor together for blasting

I have use of a 70 cfm Road compressor and my compressor is 38cfm, can these be tee‘d together as I could do with about 85-90 cfm at 90-100 psi to operate a blaster. I am not sure how it will work together as the compressor is on demand, will the pressure in receiver stop the road compressor kicking in, maybe working with no or perhaps only a small receiver tank would be ok? Any thoughts?

should be fine just to tee them together

when I used a road compressor it ran full time and air production was controlled by a valve not the compressor being on/off... it should match your load... I think that's how they all work?

might need to turn the pressure on your normal compressor up a bit so it kicks in quick instead of waiting for pressure to drop

Yes, I'm familiar with the chart.
So your wanting to run a 1/4" nozzle on 70+38 = 108 cfm ?
It's gonna be close, with nothing left over for a supplied air hood.
I'll wager both compressors will go to full load, and you won't have any trouble
with compressors interacting with each other.

Maybe run a restriction from the screw compressor to limit the flow out of the tank, this should ensure it cycles. Unless it is rated to run continuously.

The biggest issue you will have at those flow rates will be cooling the air enough to remove the moisture.
