T-Nuts

Hi all,

can someone confirm I need 12mm t-nuts for my drill table, the dimensions of the slots are as in this diagram: -

T-nuts are measured across where you have the 11mm marked at the top.

So id need 10mm ones then as 12mm isn't going to fit an 11mm hole?!

Tried to google for some info and it seemed to have some variation as to what the sizes were!

8mm according o arceurotradings site.
look in their workholding sect theres a chart in there.

Sorry to delete a reply, I tried to copy and paste a manufacturers spec and it looked like non understandable gibberish-- it should have looked like this.

Its the width of the table slot thats important, the other dimensions are so critical. See in the link below.

Thanks ford34/2. If it was me i'd get some 12mm ones and take a bit off them in the milling machine.

Don't have access to a milling machine tbh, I might buy one of each and see what fits, if the 12mm fits i could take a file to the slot as its not 100% straight so may well be 12mm in places I just measured one end as I was in a rush at the time.

If it's an old British drill chances are the size will be imperial in which case 11mm is near enough 7/16".
