Evening all
This is my first post so please go easy on me. I've been doing a city and guild introduction to welding. I'm stuck on what should be one of the easiest welds. I'm in on Tuesday evenings for 2 hours. 2 hours a week doesn't seem enough.
I've been stuck on the t fillet for 4 weeks. I'm left handed and what's happening is I start the weld it's going fine then half way through I'm lowering my hand and the weld is the. Going up. So it's ruined. I've tried standing, sitting, moving my arms and not my torso and also standing up straight and pushing the weld. All sorts.
It's just not happening. I'm really frustrated. I also have 2 more welds to do and not much time left.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
