Hey guys.
So I made the mistake to paint my van inside with a synthetic anti-orrosion paint.
After 90 days I could still feel the smell and I got headache evey time e enter in the van!
So I follow a recomendation on this forum and I strip it all (well almost).
But there is a little parts that is impossbible to stip, like cavities next to the windshield, there is no acess there no way to strip it!
I wold say 95% (or even more) its removed but that little parts are really hard.
My question is, because of the high temperatures of the van the synthetic paint that is left there will ever completly cure?
My number one priority is my health!!! I know paint (even the acrylic proper for cars) can release trace amounts of VOCs for at least 6 months.
I was having big headache just driving this van, and for the future the goal is to convert into a camper and live and sleep inside it full time!!
So I need to be sure if the syntetic paint will ever completly cure with high temperatures and stop releasing VOCs?
My plan now is to not use the van in the next 10 months... Just to be extra safe.... Is just for next summer I will use it! But today someone told me that the paint will never ever cure and he got me worried...
Thanks!!
