This manufacturers reputation precedes them and it isn't a good one. Nor is it of a quality I would ever contemplate wasting money on. @Jim Davey the Parweld is a machine I was contemplating along with the Bohler Uranus though I struggle with this name a bit couldn't somebody have pointed it out to them!? A Lorch would work as there is three phase where it is going so that may be something for me to look into a bit further. A regular good quality machine would also work for me as @backpurge suggests. Is this one cheap enough?

Which model do you have?As a reasonably competent DIY welder, and occasional "for work" welder, used to 3phase machines, I am very pleased with my single phase GYS synergic MIG. Its very difficult to do a crap weld. Under £700 a few years ago.
There's dozens on there. Decent price too.3 phase is a game changer for MIG quality... There are a lot of s/h Lorch micormigs on ebay atm... if it were me, I'd be tempted.
I'd not be too fussed about synergic settings, I'd just want either a really good smooth step-transformer mig, or a nice inverter.
IMHO there's something awesome about inverter migs just being able to tweak voltage to the nearest 0.1V, and an inductance knob can come in useful on short-arc too.
Multi-Pearl 200/2 - I have no idea where they get the names from! And a quick look does show the prices have gone up unfortunately - but I contacted GYS UK for a local rep, and got a good price from him, bought through a local place.Which model do you have?
