slightly off topic but i am thinking of buying a new SWP co2 reg what are they like, its no the cheapest of cheap on ebeay but it says it's made in britian?

Spend £2 more and support a great shop, and with bonus you don't have to deal with ebay and get it next day.

Further to that, the swp regulators on ebay are for argon mix type cylinders, don't know what style cylinder you have but worth mentioning just in case, the swp and wescol actually look exactly the same.

CJ, are you sure about that? I know they had some problems with their flashback arrestors a few years ago but I don't recall anything on here about regulators.
Not the sort of thing we ought to post if we can't substantiate it.

Yes, you're right, I think it was flashback arrestors. Bit of a careless, casual recall. Might well be best deleted in fact, Wozzaaah, if that's possible.

i got one ( cause weldquipewas on holiday at the time) 2 guage single stage argon/co2
it works

its only rated at 230bar though the ebay ad implied that it was 300
ive yet to get a bottle that was filled to anywhere near 230

iv got a converted fire extuinguisher so ill be getting a plain old CO2 one
