Good Evening All,
As the title would suggest has anyone owned / used one of these generators, Suzuki SE 4000 SED
See pic below (if it didn't fall off)
I brought it off eBay a few years ago, as a none runner.
1. new spark plug, carb clean out later it worked and made power too !! It`s been serviced and the automatic choke mechanism removed (too much trouble to put back together again, as was in bits when I got it).
I have no idea how old it is let alone it`s engine size, I know its a side valve unit. But that's about it, whether it can run in unleaded petrol or not. I don`t know.
It can run a 1.5 kw compressor motor but I`ve never pushed it so to speak, only ran the compressor till it got to pressure.
Am I correct in my assumption that running a Clarke 150 te mig is going to be a bad idea, either killing the genny or the welder.
Thanks in advance for advice. Martin
