My old mitre saw started popping fuses and I've traced it to the suppression capacitor (it works fine after removing it). Although I suspect it'll work without, I'd rather replace it, but I can't seem to find an exact replacement without having to buy a bucket load from China.
Can I replace it with one of identical values (and manufacturer) apart from having a uf value of 0.68uf instead of the 0.33uf of the original? ...the higher value ones are easily available (ebay link). As you can probably guess my knowledge of electronics is pretty basic.
