Hello,, Does anybody know where i can get hold of some high pressure steel pipe/tube I need a piece 12mm bore 14/16mm ish Od 4Ft long,(( Ie, High pressure able to take 2 ton sq inch and/or 4000PSI i carnt find any local to me??

Hi John,

You could try http://www.tynetubes.co.uk/tube_pipe.php they seem to do a vast range of different pipes etc,, but i don't think getting the tube is the problem, getting just 4ft long will be the problem unless you try some of your local engineering companies, that do pressure vessels and systems.

But be prepared to buy a full lenght if no one has any offcuts

Have given a thought to maybe Hydrolic hose manufacturer in your area, might be able to help, as they make up hoses and pipes for a living.
