Suppliers in north east?

Can anyone recommend any DIY friendly steel supplier in/near Co. Durham? (Or willing to deliver for a reasonable price). Ive looked and can only seem to find those interested in arctic loads.

I'm especially looking for the likes of square tube as id like attempt the obligatory wood/rocket stove.

I used metal supermarket years ago, when they were next to sainsburys. I got on well with the guy, always willing to help. Guy I dealt with, was a bit arsey when i recently went to the new building.

Not a supplier as such, but you could try any small fabricators who often have odd lengths and offcuts lying around; e.g. Elmtree Fabrications in Stockton.

Off Topic, but if its Stainless you even need, Always more than Obliging and racks full of offcuts available to browse if you ask and offer cash. + an enormous selection of stock

Marys Place- nuisance to find. if you Turn up into Marys place off White St. then turn right again Reynolds are in top left corner.
Not too sure if this link will work, Ellison Valdis Paint supplier,was there in the 70s.
