Hi All...
Great forum, a huge ammount of good info on here, long may it continue...
OK...
I have acquired (legit!) a used SuperMig 185 (and a sadly empty size 'y' argoshield bottle, but that's another subject..) that I'm slowly sorting out to put back into use, for my own use. It was filthy inside (arn't they all?) as I think it had just be used and used without any maintenance by a car exhaust place that went bust.
Anyway, all goes to plan, all the electric's etc work just fine (even the wire feed system!), but there is a part I need, that I can't seem to source from anywhere.
It's the tiny 'O' ring, that seals the gas feed in the Euro Torch connector. I found a parts manual on the web (sorry, I've lost the link ) that though shows just about everything, but it does not break down the torch/lead/connector into individual parts.
The problem is, that this 'O' ring has shrunk and perrished, so I can't even relaibly measure it. It is however about 1/4 dia ( od ) but the section can't be much more than 3/4 mm (an odd combination of units!) if that.
I've done the rounds of the usual suspects here (Milton Keynes) and no one has anything that small in stock.
So... Where from guys...
Best Regards etc...
FW.
