Though i would post some pics of my buggy i have been working on most nights and weekends for the past 6month. when i started this i had never done anything like this so spent a lot of time welding scrap and re making parts as well. miles to too but i finally have something worth taking pictures of

I should have elaborated more i suppose i must point out i am real bad at talking (posting) about things so bear with my posts lol

So i have a 1100 Suzuki (aircooled) engine good for 100BHP from a Gsx 1100 F eventually the 89-92 gixxer engine with different carbs and valves for a nice wallop of torque instead of horses. got 390mm eye to eye front shocks and 720 rear. (Hopefully fox shox).

using Porsche 924 axles and lobro cv's wil have 2 twin pot front discs, and 1 single pot rear. all stainless braided hose. a honda civic oil cooler, steering rack from a mk2 escort shortend lock, adapted mini steering colum 5 point harness....

Ehhh dunno what else to say lol oh it will most likely be green and black haha.

Nice job Scott - especially ambitious for a first project.

A GSX engine's gotta weigh 100 kilos or more though. Not exactly 'super light'. A CBR engine will make 100hp and weight only about 70kg plus will withstand over-rev from wheelspin better.

Thanks pete. it is too plans which makes life esasier but course alot you have to work out youself. and i did good at tech drawing at school so given enough time it should end upte nuts,

Yeh i agree there it is a heavy lump and does concern me as with no diff you will need to break traction to handle. however I am not aware how well the suzi will do this. I do have a cbr600 engine lying doing nothing but after talking to a boy who put one in his he wishes he had gone bigger :/ ahhhh the dilemma

Kawasaki 4x4 quads have shaft drive HD rear axles with diff but also diff lock.

Cool, i wasn't aware that any quads had diffs but i have no real knowledge about them to be honest. will keep that in mind as im a wee while away from the drive parts of the rear end.

Look on google for Fiesta chain driven differential. Quite a few kits use them and some people made their own. Quad diffs don't handle big horsepower.

Polaris quads also have a rear diff with lock.
If you want independant rear suspension then a front diff out of a 4x4 quad should work but don't know of any fronts with diff lock.
