but i would like to say it is mig welding not stick welding.
and it is only one of the 3 deposit methods.. and if you got a spray version it would be very smooth.

yes quite correct it is indeed mig, i just thought it was interesting seeing the violence of the weld pool and arc and how regardless of method, when you see this you wonder how the welds can finish up looking as good as they do.
