Hi to all.
Yesterday in front of a beer a new problem arised (maybe).
My friends just bought a tractor mounted mulcher, like this:
http://www.ceccato-olindo.it/p/170/spaccalegna-elettrico-hobby-semiprofessionale
Its weight is 475 kg
The footprint is 1980x970 mm
Here the promotional video
Their garage is quite full and they cannot manouver well with the tractor to park
the machine well.
So the idea to make a dolly on wheels to move it.
For now I was thinking to a simple design, like:
- rectangular frame (square section 40x40x3) with some infills in between,
maybe doubled on the longest side, to reduce deformation
- 4 wheels (2 pivoting and 2 fixed)
- a wood panel on top, easily replaceable.
Something like this (take from Google)
http://www.boltlessshelvingsystem.c...500mm-for-office-home-or-workshop-moving.html
I have never made things for such weights level, so I'm searching suggestions.
Where should I put attention?
Thans to all.
