Also at the weekend, I painted the inside of a couple of Land Cruiser front wings.
They are best Chinese steel and the rust was already showing under the ecoat.
They are proper junk but at least they are available and better than what was on it.
Given the province of the wings, I gave them a quick sweep blast to get a good key.
Wherever the coating came off I went to bare steel.
Then 3 coats of International Interzone 954 wet on wet with a 2.5 tipped gravity gun.
I used just over half a litre of mixed paint. It's not pretty but it will be needed to try and get these wing to last more than a couple of years.
