Had a situation at the weekend on some studding where the threads were stripping under tension
Would I be right in saying a higher thread pitch can take more load/torque under tension?
Also the quality of the steel needs to be of a higher tensile strength?
Welded a couple of nuts together in the end which worked, But it did make me question physics
