Hi all
Pleased to find this forum and hope you can help?
I have an Eland 130 MIG and for some time, especially first weld out, it looks a spluttered mess with pin holes as though no gas. But I have checked gas and regulator/ flow meter setting at around 10 cfm and always run gas through before welding and fresh wire. Audible sound of gas is present at gun.
Today I connected the earth directly to a piece of 0.9 steel and same result for a while. Turned gas off and welded with almost identical result as you would expect. Turned gas on again and suddenly fine! Any ideas what might be causing this fault please?
Happy New Year!
Kevin
