Hope this is in the right section...am after a technique I suppose..
Planning ahead, the stove flue will go vertical, then 45 degrees through the wall, returning to vertical with a rain cap on it I shuld think.
What is used to seal the flue where it passes through the wall, especially when the stove is not lit and rain water is running down the pipe and trying to track into the workshop.
I have thought of whatever has replaced asbestos rope, mainly because of the expansion and contraction.
I am sure there is something but I have never had anything to do with stoves and flues etc.
it will probably be a Clarke pot belly with 117mm flue
It can't go through the roof by the way.
