I've never had a good way of dealing with the smaller pieces of sandpaper, Scotchbrite, etc. They always just seem to end up at the bottom of the sandpaper bin, so I'd like to see how you store those.
Bear with me while I experiment with a new image hosting service. IMGUR seems to have fallen on its ar5e.
Cut out required thickness and size for emery paper stack.
Sandwich with thin ply, leave finger cutouts.
End up with a sturdy benchtop friendly store for small strips of emery. Usually keep it in the emery sheet drawer where it will happily sit with the full sheets stored there.
<edit> hmm that didn't work as expected! Time to make these inline...
<edit> eww. postimage image sharing is clunky. Makes even imgur look positively user friendly....
