Old fella used to use danarm saws on the leccy board, said they were good saws but once it got hot you didn't stop it coz you wouldn't fire the thing back up again
i have the older ts400 here, its not killed with work now so i wasnt in any rush to change up but had thought about doing so some time.I have a 261 and I love it! Don't have an 08 but I do have a ts350 which is the same engine but a disc cutter not a chainsaw. It runs ok but vibrates a lot! Not a patch on my ts420, that's a good piece of kit. I think its a bit like comparing old cars and new, they generally do the same job, newer ones are a bit faster but much more refined and nicer to use. Reliability is another matter though, cars and chainsaws!
