got some s/steel sheets to glue to kitchen tiles in a restaurant,is contact adhesive suitable? thanks.

my father used no more nails to stick his splash back to his kitchen tiles. No sign of it coming off without a chisel

Thoroughly degrease the tiles and it should be fine.

I am converted to the pink gripper adhesive now, have used it a few times this year and seems amazing stuff, especially on a heavily used weather exposed step where the tiles kept coming off no matter what I used.

If its in a hot spot try sticks like Sh*t it will need supporting during setting and degreasing prior but it holds well enough to hold out in real hot steamy areas. Falling off can lead to a big claim if its at the back of a Hob etc., I suspect you will have to seal around the perimeter also so you can perhaps use the same stuff for that

If I told you it has held 8mm thick 18"x12" slate panels against the inside of my chimney breast with a 10kw solid fuel range just 8" away for two years now, the back-up screws seem a whole lot less important right? That said I should still fit a few in high risk spots like the backs of hobs (I do know of a claim in this regards and it was a big Granite splash back!)
Coverage? Get plenty on

I often use pink grip and sticks like sh-t, both great.
Best I've used so far though is Wedi 610, amazing stuff. Used in wet rooms but it's gripping strength is fantastic.
