steel wheels problem.

Howdo all.

The problem is that I'm after a set of steel wheels for my camper but I'm hanged if I know where to look.

The camper is a Toyota Granvia, which is a "grey" import from Japan, the nearest equivalent UK model being the Hiace. She was imported 4 years ago and is currently shod with 225/50/17 low-profile tyres on rather tired alloys. The spare wheel is a steel rim but my guess is that the alloys were fitted in Japan. (the name on them is "Zauber Glanzen"??)

My intention is to have the alloys refurbed but I need the van for my weekly commute to work, hence the set of steel rims. As a bonus, it would be nice to have a set of winter tyres fitted to the steels. I had new tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago, (Tyremen on Witty Street, Hull. Very helpful chaps), and was told that the rim details are:

stud pattern - 6 x 139.7
centre bore - 67.1
offset - 35

If any of you chaps can help, I shall, as ever, be eternally grateful.

The 6 x 139.7 stud pattern (which is 6 on 5.5" in old money) is fairly common on Jap pickups and 4 x 4s so have a look at Toyota Hilux wheels in a breakers. Isuzu used this stud pattern on 4 x 4s too. A lot of earlier Chevy trucks and their more recent 4 x4s used this stud pattern too, but I think the offset/backspace might be wrong for you.

The stud pattern is common for jap vehicles but are you sure about the centre bore size ?

i have 2 sets of wheels and tryes sitting in my garden that should fit.
as above.. jap fitting. and remember vauxhall frontera too... nice and cheep and most scrappys have them
