I have worked with metal many times over the years(not professionally though)and would consider myself a reasonable bead layer but a novice when it comes to knowledge of metel composition.
I want to build suspension struts and beams for classic cars.
What would be the best grade of steel to use?
Do I need to go high tensile?
I can get s275 very easily as my mate buys a lot for shed building but I dont know if it is strong enough .
