steel price ?

What's a good price for 18 m of 80 x 6 mm black mild strip these days ? ( delivered )

I mostly use recycled steel so I don't have a clue on prices.

I'd expect it to be about £30-35/length.... So probably £120-£150....

Hey phone your local stock holder, I am sure it will be dearer in London than in Lancashire

About £80 with VAT but I seem to remember someone on here saying you can usually phone your local supplier and tell them you found it cheaper and they'll drop their price. See if you have a local stockholder.

my local supplier for 5mm is ... 80 x 5mm flat @ 6000mm long. £16.65 + VAT.
Dunno about 6mm though
