not sure where to post this but im looking for a supplier for lengths or pipe 12 inch -24 inch diameter pipe in small quantities

Looking at your previous posts I'm guessing you want to practice welding, personally I wouldn't bother practicing on anything so large your much better of on 2inch tube as you constantly have to change angles

no i am looking to make a roller for our small field and rather than buy one i would like to make one as i cant find the thing i am looking for.

You would be better contacting a local fabrication business to see if they can roll you a "pipe" to your specification. Most paddock rollers are formed from a sheet of steel rolled into shape and seam welded. Steel pipe 24"diameter will be expensive to buy and most likely dearer than getting steel rolled to size.

What about a 47kg propane cylinder with the ends cut off, you could weld 2 together if one is not long enough.
From memory they are about 15" in diameter.

the problem with that is you wouldn't get enough weight in there to make any difference to the land.

Filled with sash weights cemented in would surely be heavy enough?

If your anywhere near Gt Yarmouth or Aberdeen go around the industrial estates looking for a pipe yard, have a chat with the boys and ask if they can do you a bit of 24" conductor - normally has 1" + wall thickness.
