steel or plastic wire liner???

hiya guys, ive got a clarke 100e mig and am wondering which wire liner is best for it ? steel or plastic ? or is it just your own preference? whats the difference except for the obvious, which is best. any advice appreciated cheers gaz

Steel liner for steel wire, plastic or teflon liner for ali wire...

A steel liner will "scrape" an ali wire, steel wire will knacker a plastic or teflon liner...
