Steel next day

Where are you chaps ordering steel for next day or Saturday delivery

We normally have long lead times on planning but every now and again we need something next day or two days

Local steel stockholder rarely has the exact thing we need

Any one else the forum recommends?

Barclay and Matheison or Barratt Steels and sort your own overnight carrier.

B&M usually deliver next day if you’re on a route, as do Barratt. They will deliver to courier hubs as part of that usually.

If you go down the B&M / Barrat route it’s cheaper with an account. Squabble a bit and you’ll get more off.

AJN next day, very good service but not the cheapest. I do buy more now so need to revisit them and find out what the score is with prices vs amounts. Been using Parkers recently and they are fairly quick, way cheaper than AJN but steel quality not so good and have had some surface rust, and bundling is rubbish, take your pick!

I've had an account with Parkers for ages, but not bought anything. They claim next day delivery.

If your really stuck your local B&Q has a selection of steel sheet, bar ect.

Can be a little bit pricey but if you need it urgently it’s there.
