A local club near me lets children do some stuff like cricket, football etc as there's no where else for them to go, the usual problem. They store some sports equipment for this in the clubhouse.
It's run by the locals on a shoe string as a lot of these social clubs are.
As is all too common now they have been broken in to 3 times this year and had a lot of the sports stuff nicked. Insurance is now too expensive for them so contents cover has been cancelled due to claims.
They have six double fire doors, an entrance door and a couple of windows to secure.
I've made FOC steel security frames for 2 of the doors with some steel I had from a project I finished. I've paid for steel and made up the third door frame.
Does anyone have some round /square bar, box section or flat bar they could donate? I can collect and don't mind the distance if the steel value is worth the fuel spent on collecting. It's in the Leeds area.
They can't leave any kit there now until the security is finished hence the appeal.
