Star Tig 160

Hi everyone

I have acquired a Star Tig 160 TIG welder it works fine on DC but on AC i only get the HF burst but no current.
From an initial inspection and a couple of google searches i suspect the main AC DC changeover switch
but would like a schematic before i proceed.
Has anyone had the same problem with one of these units and has anyone got a schematic for it ?.
I found a previous thread on this site with someone looking for the same schematic but it is over five years old.

That done ...I am running 2 of these, one runs as it should (6KW on HF start and 2.9KW whilst welding at 80-90 amps and variable as the amp raise) the other pulses whilst welding and runs 6KW all the time (I am presuming that the HF is running all the time) I am based Coventry and could do with some help being pointed at a man who can.
I WAS running a Parweld torch with a pot on the gun and have had to remove this to get to a point where I can determine what is happening (which is a pity as I like the torch I just thought the pot was giving me poor control over current)

PS I do know that there are several versions of the machine AS the earlier of my machines had only 4 capacitors (now it has 8 as I upgraded it to match the later machine) which required me to add a switching relay.
