its not the cable that feeds your house. its the whole infrastructure. main cable supplies and transformers need upgrading . yarm high street near us has had 3 lots of cabling repaired as it had burnt out with overload. by rights the whole street should be rewiredSo if I buy an electric car will the cabling supplying my house have to be replaced to cope with increased load (if I could afford it ) might be tempting as the moronic fuel hoarders have emptied all garages within a 20 mile radius
