I'm a total newbie, sorry for the stupid question!
I have a Clarke 151TE welder that has the small disposable bottles and a Mk1 Golf with lots of welding to do, so i've got myself a standard regulator and picked up a bottle of Hobbyweld 5.
Problem is the regulator i have is a standard one. It has a male 5/8BSP thread for the bottle and a 3/8BSP thread for the gas hose but the Hobbyweld is side entry. Will it matter as i want to get on and have a practice over the long weekend?
The connections are the same size so will it effect the flow at all? The bottle isn't big so i can point the gauges skyward along with the adjusting flow tap but wanted to make sure i'm not going to be doing anything wrong?
Thanks!
