Stair Nosings

After some of these bad boys. Stair 'nosings' to go on a stair we have nearly finished. They are 1000mm long, and sit in a rebate formed in 50mm thick oak treads.
They could be made, either from 75 x 6 ss with slots machined out, or at a push, made up from strips. Neither ideal.

Anyone know of any supplier who sells this stuff off the shelf? Can't think of an easier way to make them.

Sure you can get it off the shelf, usually has a bit that gets tiled/floored over though, looks a bit like ceramic tile edging.... just cut it off?

Ach. Been on their website. Similar idea but too deep. Those are for tiled treads

Stainless cant think of anything unless machined.
There are off the shelf varieties in aluminium though, same profile as required or filled with Ferodo, 990 or 995mm rings a bell.

Looks like machined is the way to go.
