Stainless turbo manifold questions

Hello all, have been collecting some parts for my turbo manifolds on my 1uzfe Hilux.
Here is what I have; ( ordered and on their way)
2 flanges from 316l
associated pipework in sch10 316l
eccentric reducers in 321, these are in 321 as that is what local supplier has in or should I find some in 316l ?

Now my question is will 316l filler be ok or should I use 347 filler as the local supplier says it would be better suited due to the high temps near turbo and also am joining different grades of stainless.
Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

321 is better than 304/316L when temps are high/there's heat cycling. Relatively rare and/or spendy for bends usually though

I don't think you'll gain anything by buying some 347 filler... welding flaws aside the weak link will be the 316L side and as such it's more usual to select filler based on the lower alloyed side of the joint as TechnicAl did here... http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/stainless.htm (308L wire for 308L to 316L/321/347 & 316L wire for 321 or 347 to 316L)

do u have to purge the manifold for welding? or isint required?

It's best to purge it sent, keeps the inside smooth, better for flow and it means you don't risk some of the dangle berries braking off and making their way into your turbo. Check Google picture for some purged vs non purged stainless. Hth
